Assented to by Parliament on March 16th, 2010 the Act became law in the Bahamas with power to repeal the Town Planning Act, the Private Roads and Sub-divisions Act, the Private Roads and Subdivisions (Out Islands) Act and the Conservation and Protection of Physical Landscape of The Bahamas (Quarrying and Minning Zones) Order, 1997.
