Marie-Jacqueline D. Winder is a Consultant in the Private Client & Wealth Management practice group. She has over 25 years’ experience in the financial industry and membership in The Bahamas Bar Association. She has considerable experience ensuring regulatory compliance, achieving successful audit outcomes, and resolving complex client matters while mentoring staff and maintaining operational excellence.

Prior to joining the Firm, Marie-Jacqueline was Head of Fiduciary Services Head (FSH) at an international trust company and a senior member of the Global Trust Company’s Management Team. She has extensive experience applying and interpreting company policies, guiding trust administration teams, and ensuring compliance across international jurisdictions. She has managed profitability of local and international trust company accounts, resolved complex legal and accounting issues, and collaborated with global law firms and tax advisors to align fiduciary structures with regulatory requirements and client objectives. Skilled in reviewing legal documents, overseeing regulatory filings, and representing fiduciary services in international projects, she also led regional initiatives to streamline operations, enhance client satisfaction, and mitigate risk.

Marie brings significant experience in fiduciary risk control and decision‑making, having overseen account acceptance, discretionary trust investments, periodic reviews, and the safe termination of fiduciary relationships. She has coordinated with regulators to implement new guidance, managed regulatory reviews, and ensured successful completion of corporate and regulatory audits. Skilled at identifying and resolving deficiencies, she also offers expertise in policy implementation, system integration, and risk reporting, consistently strengthening compliance and governance frameworks while enhancing operational efficiency.
