Dinesh Menon is a trust and private client attorney with over 20 years of experience in wealth structuring, succession planning and estate matters. He is Of Counsel in the Private Client & Wealth Management practice of the Firm.

Dinesh has significant experience assisting clients and their advisors from a wide range of jurisdictions. This includes advising on and assisting with developing, administering and restructuring multi-jurisdictional structures to advance their wealth management, succession and commercial, plans and objectives. He is well versed in providing legal and practical advice on establishing, restructuring, administering and determining trust structures for high net worth clients. Dinesh has developed and refined his private client and trust practice in a number of jurisdictions, namely, Singapore, New Zealand, Guernsey, the Netherlands Antilles and the Cook Islands. Such an uncommon professional background has allowed him to acquire a rare and more nuanced appreciation for the needs and requirements of his clients across different jurisdictions and cultures.

Dinesh has previously worked as the country-legal and designated compliance officer for international trust companies. He has considerable experience in risk assessment, due diligence processes, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance issues in relation to wealth management and trust structures.

Dinesh obtained an LL.M. (Hons.) from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from College of Law, (Sydney, Australia). He also holds a LL.B. and a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia and the High Court of New Zealand. He has a TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (U.K.) (“STEP”) and has subsequently obtained Advanced Certificates in Trusts Disputes and in Family Business Advising (Distinction) from STEP as part of his ongoing attention to developing his private client and trust expertise.
