Carol D. Munnings Misiewicz is a Consultant and a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice group.

With over 32 years’ Call to the Bar, Carol is a seasoned practitioner with 20 years of experience in the areas of civil litigation, conveyancing, probate, insolvency and trust litigation. She is a former Magistrate and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas holding the dual role of judge in chambers and Manager of the Family Division Registry with over 12 years’ experience in managing courts and court systems.

Carol holds a Masters in Public Administration degree from the University of Birmingham (UK), a Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (Second Class Hons, Upper Division) from the University of the West Indies. Carol was admitted to The Bahamas Bar in 1989.

Carol is a former Associate Tutor at the Eugene Dupuch Law School, Coordinator for the CARICOM 7th Annual Heads of the Judiciary Conference and Fellow of the United Nations Centre for Human Rights.
