H&J Corporate Services Ltd., the corporate arm of Higgs & Johnson, gladly donated to the Breathe Easy campaign at the start of the year. This campaign was launched by the Rotary Club of East Nassau in an effort to provide ventilators and incubators for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

Surinder Deal stated, “We are pleased to donate to the Breathe Easy Campaign whose goal is to improve care and treatment of premature babies at the Princess Margaret Hospital. It is our hope that our contribution will put the ‘Breathe Easy Campaign’ closer to that goal.”

Michele Rassin, Chairperson of the Breathe Easy Campaign & President of the Rotary Club of East Nassau, noted “On behalf of the ‘Breathe Easy Campaign’, I would like to thank H&J Corporate Services Ltd. for their recent generous donation in support of the nationwide fund-raising campaign. Your support will help save the lives of hundreds of premature babies who would be unable to breathe without the assistance of these ventilators. We are delighted to be able to raise funds for such a worthy cause as no child should have to struggle for that first breath.”

To date the ‘Breathe Easy Campaign’ has raised $259,000 thereby being able to purchase four ventilators and two incubators for the NICU at PMH.
