Areas of Practice
Mr. Felix F. L. Beneby Jr. specializes in Civil and Commercial Litigation. He is concentrated in the areas of commercial litigation, law of insolvency, banking and compliance law, employment law and admiralty law. He provides legal advice and counsel to major international and local financial service providers and corporations regarding cross-border and multi-jurisdictional litigation, fraud, asset-tracing and recovery matters and internal operations. Felix also represents clients in franchise and intellectual property disputes.
Felix obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Allison University, New Brunswick, Canada, majoring in Biology and minoring in International Business and Economics in 2006. He further obtained a Bachelor of Law degree (LL.B (Hons)) in 2011 from The University of Buckingham, in Buckinghamshire, England. Felix continued his studies at the University of the West of England, Bristol, England, where he completed the Bar Practitioner’s Training Course in 2012. Additionally, he has trained with the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Group of London, and was accredited as a civil and commercial mediator.
Felix was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2012 and is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. He was subsequently called to The Bahamas Bar in December 2012. He completed pupilage at Higgs and Johnson, becoming an Associate in December 2013.
